33 celsius; constant wind with gusts up to 35K/hr from the direction we were headed; and a few significant inclines, including 19.9% slope in the the final 2K climb through Québec city to Hôtel Manoir d'Auteuil (thank goodness for gears - though Y is having a tricky time with hers slipping occassionally since yesterday). A really great start to the day as we glided away from the very nice farm stay, and along another gorgeous stretch of the St. Lawrence. About 10K into the ride a car pulled up just ahead of us and out stepped Andre with the clean pair of B's socks that he though he must have lost previously! Thank you Andre! We rode slowly and surely in the heat, with lots of water stops and arrived in Lévis just in time to board the ferry to Québec - not planned, just a bit of good fortune. The sun was setting behind the Château Frontenac as the ferry from Levis pulled up to the dock. We are thrilled with our beautiful room and are headed out for some nice food and live music and to share some Éphémère . We look forward to our day of relaxation tomorrow.

  1. Hi Sam, On the previous post you noted the Ride With GPS link did not follow through. You realized the note was actually for this page hence your note above. I have now corrected it with thanks. I have left your comment here but did not post your comment needing correction on the previous post.
